Hey all . . . sorry about any confusion. There was side conversation about which date would be best, and I guess it never got finalized. So let's pretend this was on purpose . . . because by moving to the 2nd Thursday, we avoid Cinco de Mayo next month.

Anyway, let's get together for a beverage, a slice, and some chat about publishing, writing, editing, graphic design . . . whatever. One clever group member suggested Lanesplitter (we're giving up on Jupiter because it's just too dang loud).

It's at 4799 Telegraph Ave in Oakland (don't accidentally go to one of the other Lanesplitters, like the better-known one on San Pablo). Relatively close to MacArthur BART, and parking is easy.

RSVPs not necessary, but it would be nice to hear from folks, just to get a sense of who's coming and alleviate my party anxiety. So, to reiterate:

What: PubGroup East Bay meeting
Where: 4799 Telegraph, Oakland
When: April 14 at 6:30 pm
Who: Anyone who works in publishing, or is interested in publishing
Why: Networking, gossip, industrial espionage, the occasional free drink.
